SPicy was cleaning up some e-mail today and came across something from Council member Helgen that SPicy had missed.  The good Council member had reported via e-mail from his conference in New Mexico, shortly after SPicy had questioned the Council's ability to be fair and consistent in the gifts it accepts (read SPicy's "A trip by another name is exactly the same.")  Mr. Helgen reported that the food was fair, the hospitality was good but the flight in coach was a disappointment.  Needless to say SPicy had a good laugh and offers a tip of the hat to Helgen for having a little fun with the post.

Happy 4th of July from SPicy.  I'll be at a picnic with some pyrotechnics,  thankfully we live in a Country that allows us to do this, and that guys like Lee Helgen can be inspired by guys like Al Gore.
